Narrow median octavos

The sheet sizes in this table are derived from the largest page size recorded for each edition (where available), with an allowance of at least 1.0 cm at the top, bottom and outer edges of the page for trimming of the leaves by a binder.

The pages of narrow median octavos have a height-to-width ratio of 1 : 1.6 instead of the normal 1 : 1.4.
